Dr. Senthil Thiagarajan
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr. Thiagarajan is a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in Old Age Mental Health. He is a trained Medical Appraiser and has acted as a Medical Appraisal Committee member. He is an Approved Clinician and Approved Section-22 Doctor registered in England and Scotland. He works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in NHS. He is also an examiner with Medical University.
He has significant experience in the management of dementia and currently involved in a project designing games for brain training and cognitive improvement. He has a special interest in teaching and community welfare.
After completing study of Medicine in India, he pursued a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry in Ireland and Diploma in Child Psychology Skills in the United Kingdom. He is aware of the transcultural difficulties in communication and has designed the Interview (MMI) training to suit students from all walks, who are interested to enrol into Medical or Dental Universities.
